Choosing Reasons

Reasons from Reasons from D************
In this short letter, I would like to tell you honestly and frankly why I chose China, Jinhua City and Zhejiang Pedagogical University to study. First of all, I chose China for my future residence and graduate studies, since September 2023 to December 2023 I studied under the student exchange program at the Northeastern Pedagogical University (东北师范大学), I spent the best months of my life in the very beautiful and cozy city of Changchun, acquired a lot new knowledge in the field of Chinese language. It was at this university that my Chinese language level increased HSK 2 to HSK 4, because it was thanks to our Chinese language teachers that I was incredibly interested in immersing myself in learning the grammar and vocabulary of the Chinese language. At that time, I even passed all the midterm exams in Chinese with 92, 95 and 97 points out of 100 possible, for which I am incredibly grateful to my teachers, because all this happened thanks to their wise guidance in the lessons and my active participation in our lessons, diligent completion of all homework during the entire period of my training. It was in Changchun that I met many interesting people, made many loyal friends, and actively attended classes with our kind and friendly Chinese language teachers. During my stay in China, many strangers readily responded to my requests to help me find the cafe or store I needed, and actively showed me the way to these places, for which I am very grateful to them to this day. It was in Changchun that I got acquainted with traditional Chinese cuisine, which I was absolutely delighted with. To be honest, my favorite dish now is 锅包肉, even in my hometown in Russia I always try to find a Chinese restaurant, as I can no longer live without traditional Chinese cuisine. I really liked the dormitories and academic buildings in China, which were always clean, cozy and very pleasant to be in. Everyone has always treated me very friendly, I would even say, in a family way, for which I am also incredibly grateful to them, because you feel at home in the hostel. I also had a very bright and cozy room in my dorm with a view of the zoo, I often went for walks with friends and watched a bright and colorful show featuring the hero (孙悟空) of one of my favorite works, "西游记" . It is for all of the above reasons that when I returned to Russia in December 2023, I promised myself that I would apply for a masters degree in China, which has become my second home, which I always want to return to with great desire! Secondly, I chose Jinhua city for my masters degree, as Jinhua is a major logistics center in Eastern China, a large industrial city and a city with a rich historical and cultural heritage. For example, I would really like to visit the Old Town and ancient ruins, as I have always been interested in historical quarters and ancient architecture. Thirdly, I chose Zhejiang Pedagogical University for my future Masters degree in Chinese Language and Literature, as this university is considered one of the most prestigious in China and is one of the top 50 universities in China, so it will be a great honor for me to receive education, gain new useful knowledge and acquire The skills are right here. Moreover, the Chinese Language and Literature program is very attractive to me, as in the future I want to become a first-class translator Chinese and a first-class specialist in such an interesting field for me as Chinese literature. In addition, during my bachelors degree in Russia, I also successfully mastered such compulsory subjects in our field as "Socio-political translation in Chinese", "Regional Studies of China", "Linguistic and Foreign Studies of China", "Branch translation in the field of regional industry of China", "Practical Chinese course", "Literature of China"which is directly related to my chosen masters degree program at Zhejiang Normal University. During my studies at Zhejiang Pedagogical University, I plan to actively attend all classes, faithfully complete all homework teachers, and actively participate in the social and scientific life of the university, since my dream is to study at Zhejiang Pedagogical University. In addition, during the study period, I will try my best to improve my level of Chinese and successfully pass the HSK 5 exam, as I have fallen in love with the Chinese language during my 4 years of undergraduate studies and am actively improving my level every day.
